Integreat at J-PAL Europe in Paris
Last week, the Integreat team had the opportunity in Paris, together with other organisations and initiatives from across Europe, to learn how to demonstrate and measure the impact of projects through randomised evaluation. The three-day workshop is part of J-PAL Europe’s European Social Inclusion Initiative. The workshop was organised by J-PAL Europe, a research foundation whose mission is to inform and advise policy makers based on extensive randomised project evaluations. Social projects often do not have the financial and personell resources to carry out appropriate and meaningful impact analyses. In cooperation with J-PAL, experienced researchers are equipped with staff and independently evaluate the impact of selected projects.
At the launch event in Paris, the Integreat team was able to gain first impressions of the scope and approach of such a research initiative and we are looking forward to the possible cooperation.
